Rescue Ridge is committed to finding loving homes for all of our adoptable dogs. We ensure that each dog is spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccination, and current on flea,tick and heartworm preventions. Additionally, all of our dogs are microchipped, so you can rest assured that your new furry friend will always be safe and secure.

Memphis is the perfect pup. Great with dogs, cats and kids. Such a handsome, sweet boy. This guy checks all the boxes.

Mattie 2yrs, female, 39lbs

Mattie is a special girl. Resilient, strong and has learned to adapt quickly. Sweet and loving Mattie is an amazing soul. She doesn't let her blindness effect her joy. This girl is soul mate material.

Allie 2yrs, female, 30lbs

This pint sized lady is energetic and playful. She enjoys the outdoors, toys and bones. She is well behaved in her crate and snuggles on her plush dog bed.

Hannah 8mths, female, 38lbs

Hannah is a sweet girl that enjoys companionship and playtime. She is crate/potty trained. She is very smart and ready to learn more.

This little lady has a big personality and loves playtime outside. She loves toys and discovering new things.

This boy is a big snuggle bug and loves belly rubs. He plays well with others but also entertains himself well.

This happy go lucky puppy is playful and loving. He enjoys being a part of the pack but entertains himself as well.

Bella 3yrs, female, 52lbs

Sweet Bella loves everyone. She loves to play and nap in the sun. Her deformed front paw does not slow her down or cause any health issues. She is crate trained and lives for pets and belly rubs.

Clyde 10mths, male, 70lbs

Clyde is a BIG baby with a big heart. He wants to please his person so training Clyde isn't difficult. He's crate trained. Clyde needs someone experienced with the larger breeds. Patience and training will help Clyde grow into the perfect companion.

Lincoln 4yrs, male, 75lbs

This guy wins the best expression award. Lincoln is perfect in his crate and has had professional training. He's playful and enjoys leash walks and neck scratches.

Ellie Mae 1yr, female, 52lbs

This beautiful girl is all about the love. She melts in your arms and gives all the love she has. Ellie Mae is great in her crate and enjoys treats and bones.

Hugo 3yrs, male, 54lbs

Hugo knows all the basics; sit, stay, here. He has perfect house manners and is crate trained. Handsome and affectionate, a winning combination.

Sammie is a happy go lucky pup that can be a little shy at first. She has mastered crate training and progressing with manners training. Sammie needs an experienced foster to help her gain confidence. FOSTER ONLY

Snacks is a funny, quirky boy. He is crate trained but prefers to be with his people. Treats are the way to this guy's heart. He will keep you entertained.

Stevie is a sweet and outgoing pup. She loves to play and chew her bones. She is crate trained and is doing very well with manners training. She is a wiggling lovebug. Stevie needs an experienced foster to gain confidence. FOSTER ONLY

Adoptable Community dogs

Without an open intake county shelter, WHERE DO ABANDONED DOGS GO?? Some lucky dogs end up wandering into the loving arms of people who just cannot look away. These Citizen Heroes take in the dogs that have been let down by irresponsible humans. These Heroes, and they are heroes in our eyes, choose to step up and care for the unwanted and abandoned dogs of rural Alabama. Unfortunately, Rescue Ridge can't take them all. We can, however, help our Citizen Heroes show off the lucky dogs they have rescued. If you are interested in any of the dogs posted on our Courtesy Page, please contact the person listed under the dog's description. We do not promote "free to good home" dogs or puppies. Spay/Neuter will be required for Courtesy Post dogs/puppies. There will also be a rehoming fee.

Lady and Buddy are brother and sister. They are approximately a year old and they are up to date on vaccines. Lady is spayed and Buddy is neutered, They are leash trained. Lady is a mild mannered girl who loves affection. Buddy is a handsome, inquisitive boy that enjoys finding a good scent trail to follow. Both of these young dogs would make great additions to families of their very own,
