Mission
At Rescue Ridge Dog Rescue of Alabama, our mission is to transform the lives of abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs in rural East Alabama and West Georgia. We provide essential veterinary care, safe and nurturing housing, training and daily physical and mental enrichment. Through human and animal socialization, we prepare dogs for adoption into loving, permanent homes. Our goal is to provide a personalized adoption experience to ensure every dog finds their perfect match, preventing them from becoming a failed rescue statistic. We also support our community by funding spay/neuter services, educating on responsible dog ownership while serving as a vital resource to our area which lacks a county and city animal shelter.

We strongly believe that all dogs deserve a chance to live a happy and healthy life, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality. Our dedicated team of volunteers and staff strive to make a positive impact on the lives of dogs and their human companions.
